When a customer arrives at an automotive dealership that uses the techWALL system a dealership employee verbally collects their information and creates a customer profile as seen below.
All communication to the customer will be sent via email by default. If a customer expresses to be contacted via SMS text, a dealership employee will send an opt-in text to the customers mobile device.
Once the customer replies START to the opt-in text, the system will mark the Opted-In flag on the customer's profile.
Each message that is sent after opting-in also includes instructions for opting-out if they no longer desire to receive SMS text communication. Customer's can always re-opt-in by replying START or asking the dealership employee to re-send an Opt-in message.
No SMS text communication is allowed to any profile that has not opted-in via text.
No SMS text communication is allowed unless end customer requests communication via SMS, then once requested from customer, the dealership employee will send and opt-in text.
